America lost one of its greatest actors, political advocates, and Christians this past Sunday. Charlton Heston will be missed by millions. So far, only one of his films made the conservative list on ECM, Ben-Hur. I can assure you more of his films will be on my blog in the future.
Well, on a lighter note, ever wonder what if The Ten Commandments were a teen-comedy? No? Hmmm. Maybe it's just me.

Heston will be sorely missed. His work is great, and his later time with the NRA was invaluable to us all!

Now that I've joined Netflix, I've put Heston's El Cid in my queue. I want to see him do some Muslim bashing.
We watched El Cid in high school Spanish class, but I admit I had forgotten about that role!

i dvd'd the ten cee's this past spring break and will watch it on the passover, april 19-20.

I Googled Heston and found that photo. I've never seen El Cid. I'll have to check that one out! Looks pretty cool!

Hey Edddddgggge! Watching Moses and Ramses rock out to Usher and Beyonce was hilarious! We really need to watch The Ten Commandments.
You also need to take me to the shooting range in honor of Charlton Heston.
El Cid has spectacular cinematography and battle scenes. I'm not sure that it's true to the real story of El Cid, however.
I watched the film this morning, "courtesy" of Netflix.
