Menstrual Ms. Pac Man

I hate to brag, but I'm the King of the Entire Planet when it comes to playing Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man, though I don't recall the version below!

One snarling "What?" says it all!

I couldn't wait to check ECM this morning, and sure enough, it made my day :)

BTW, I've seen Edge in action at the arcade at the bowling alley and--Wow!

I love Family Guy! LOL!

I don't know what the deal is with blaming us women for being grouchy. Clearly it is a mass conspiracy by everyone else to become as annoying as possible for one week out of the month.

Too bad I can't take you up on the challenge, Edge. I'm the Queen of the planet when it comes to those games! :)

4 or 5 years ago, when Edge and I worked together, old video games came up in conversation. Edge told us how good he was at some of the games, but that he was the king of Missile Command. When he played Missile Command, children cheered, women swooned, and strong men wept.

Now I used to play Missile Command. I was good, real good, so this news was of some interest. I played Missile Command in the arcade bacj in the day, and my name was #1 on the high score board for months. When I was overseas, I could gather a crowd in the arcades in Hiroshima when I played. Children really did cheer.

So, a ported copy suitable for play on a PC was procured. Time was found. A couple of curious coworkers gathered to provide the cheering.

It wasn't pretty. Edge was crushed. Beaten like scrambled eggs. Edge does not like to discuss just how bad it was.

You see, Edge had never seen Missile Command played at a world class level. Edge didn't know anyone could play any video game like this. Forced to watch until the score ran over a million points, he learned something he did not know. The scoring on Missile Command only goes to 999,999. Then it rolls over to zero and begins again.

So, I make no claims to Pac-Man. I can stand aside. But if playing Missile Command is important to you, I can offer coaching lessons. It's just a shame I'm not that good at something truly useful.

I let him win to feel good about himself.

I know, I's just the kind of guy I am.

You see ASM826 doesn't have many friends and I felt obligated to make him feel better about himself.

Obviously, I succeeded.

C'mon back, if ya ever want try again, 'cause I told you once, you son of a #####, I'm the best that's ever been.

Victory is life. Second place is a body bag.

EDGE said...

You Jarheads sure do have an active imagination.

ASM826 said...

Now, see, edgeweed... If you let me win, that was a liberal thing to do.
If you didn't let me win, but said you did, that's a liberal thing to do.

But we both know. You were stunned.

You don't have to publish this one, I'll call and razz you about it tomorrow.
