I usually don't make it a habit to post movies up here that I've not seen, but my boss saw this one and gave it a BIG thumbs up!
Unfortunately Taking Chance, starring Kevin Bacon, won't be available on DVD until May 19th. It premiered on HBO back in February.
Based on real-life events, Lt. Col. Michael Strobl (Bacon), a volunteer military escort officer, accompanies the body of 19-year-old Marine Chance Phelps back to his hometown of Dubois, Wyoming.
I did manage to find the trailer on Youtube (below)! Looks like a good one, so keep your eyes open when it hits Netflix and video stores!

I like Bacon and his wife, they seem to be good people in real life. I also like their acting. This looks to be a good one. I hope sales are good also.

It was a good book. If someone really is interested, and can't wait for the DVD, the story is compelling. You will come away with some hope for the heart of America.
